this is a pretty simple poem written one night while eating alone thinking...wtf??

the concept is basic...its no secret to guys that sometimes girls can be very passionate and caring one moment and rather coarse and cold the next. this often leaving the guy wonder exactly what he should think about the whole thing. this also gives in to the concept that some girls are rather flirtatious in nature and are pretty good at making guys think their serious when their not.

i started the first line thinking of a poem a friend once gave me titled 'never give all the heart'. it had the same tone and message to it but since i could only remember the first line i wasn't worried about copying it >

and as a last second change i added the last two lines and changed 'rose' to a noun by always capitalizing it. this adds a little confusion to it i think since i could either be marking rose as important or as being an actual person since it has been used as a girls name.

why did i do this? i think its a combination between it being 1:30 am (cant sleep) and just wanting to add a bit uniqueness into an otherwise normal poem
